About Wilbur & Orville: The Workshop Upstairs

Step into the bicycle shop where two brothers changed the world. Wilbur & Orville: The Workshop Upstairs is a one-person theatrical journey that brings to life the wit, genius, and relentless determination of the Wright Brothers. Blending history, storytelling, and a touch of humor, the play transports audiences from the brothers’ humble beginnings in Dayton, Ohio, to their triumphant first flights at Kitty Hawk and beyond.

Part history lesson, part human drama, and part celebration of imagination itself, this intimate 75-minute performance reveals not only how Wilbur and Orville built the world’s first powered airplane, but also how they built each other up—through rivalry, resilience, and an unshakable bond.
